VozLibro — Privacy policy
1. Controller and scope
VozLibro is controlled by Ever Salvador, operating under the public developer name TESA. This Policy describes how data related to reading, library services, reminders, accessibility and AI features is collected, used, shared, protected and deleted. Privacy contact: support.vozbook@gmail.com.
2. Age and protection of minors
The app is intended for people aged 13 or older, subject to higher local age and authorization requirements. Birth date or age category may be collected and stored to enforce restrictions and eligibility. Accounts under 18 and those whose adult status is not verified are not offered rewarded ads. If we discover an under-13 account, we will review it and address appropriate deletion.
3. Account and profile data
We process email address, account ID, display name, language, provided country or region, selected voice, settings, authentication and security information, and necessary age data. Supabase provides authentication and storage. We do not ask for passwords by support email. Birth dates support age checks and feature restrictions.
4. Library, reading and documents
We may handle imported books and documents, covers, metadata, scanned images, OCR text, notes, bookmarks, collections, reading progress and preferences. Some data stays on-device; other data may be synchronized privately with your account across devices. You choose which files to import and when to use scanning or web import.
5. Usage and technical data
We may record operational events, errors, technical identifiers, sessions, feature usage, scanning limits, AI requests, credits, reward verification and subscription status as necessary. Providers may receive device or connection data based on active SDKs. Precise GPS location is not a general requirement for using VozLibro.
6. Why we use data
We use data to manage accounts; store and sync libraries; provide reading, voices, OCR and accessibility; process AI requests; administer Free and Premium limits; verify rewards and subscriptions; prevent fraud and duplicate charges; provide support; and meet legal duties. Depending on the purpose and applicable law, legal grounds may include providing the requested service, legal duties, proportionate legitimate interests or consent. Where separate consent or system permissions are required, they will be requested appropriately.
7. Content sent to AI providers
When you activate AI, prompts, questions, book excerpts and other necessary information may be sent to OpenAI. Premium full-book analysis may send substantial portions of a book over successive steps. Importing, downloading or listening without requesting AI does not automatically send the whole book to OpenAI. Reviewed requests use `store: false`, which does not mean zero retention or eliminate the provider's security logs.
8. AI history and credit records
VozLibro may keep visible prompts, answers, summaries and results, along with technical records of processing steps, credit use and refunds. These records support safe retries, avoid duplicate credit charges, resolve failures and restore prior results. Deleting a visible history item does not guarantee instant removal of every related technical record or backup.
9. Optional advertising
Rewarded ads, when enabled, are optional and offered only to verified adult accounts. Google AdMob may process technical signals and identifiers needed to display ads and verify rewards. Ad display and personalized advertising, where applicable, are subject to separate permissions and privacy choices. Accepting this Policy does not constitute consent to personalized advertising.
10. Subscriptions and transactions
If Premium is sold through Google Play or the App Store, those stores process purchases and provide the IDs or statuses needed to validate access. VozLibro does not need your full payment card number to validate a subscription. Stores process billing data under their own policies.
11. Recipients and other services
Relevant service providers include Supabase (authentication, database, storage), OpenAI (requested AI), Google AdMob (ads when enabled), Google Play and potentially Apple App Store (payments), and servers hosting public works that you choose to download. Data sharing depends on the function used and actual configuration. Third parties have their own policies.
12. International transfers
Technology providers may store or process information outside your country. Where required, we will apply safeguards and mechanisms prescribed by applicable law and provider contracts. Specific locations depend on the infrastructure and its configuration.
13. Security
We use authentication controls, protected connections, user-level access policies and database security, including RLS where applicable. Privileged operations are limited to necessary service functions. No system can guarantee perfect security; contact support if you suspect an incident and avoid emailing unnecessary sensitive documents.
14. Retention
Account, library and preference data is generally held while your account is active or needed for the service. AI, reward, security and transaction records may be retained longer for integrity, disputes, fraud prevention or legal obligations. There is no single automatic deletion deadline covering every category; backups and vendors may follow separate cycles. We do not promise retention limits that have not been implemented.
15. Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent, and complain to a competent authority. Write to support.vozbook@gmail.com describing your request. We may proportionately verify identity or legal representation and will respond within legally required periods.
16. Account deletion
Delete your account in Profile → Delete account. If you cannot sign in, request deletion at support.vozbook@gmail.com from an identifiable or associated email address; never send passwords. Associated data is deleted except lawful retention obligations and justified records, with backups following their cycles. Account deletion does not cancel store subscriptions.
17. Minors, complaints and updates
If you believe a child under 13 registered, notify the privacy contact. Guardian requests are reviewed according to representation laws and teenagers' rights. We may update this Policy for feature, provider or legal changes, posting a new version and date and giving additional notices when needed.
